In all things Queen Margrethe seems to place great importance on preserving the integrity of original workmanship and design, which is perhaps why she has not had the bracelets rebuilt and prefers to keep them original.
Whether to entirely rebuild a jewel which is suffering metal fatigue is a fraught question. Most museums would not, but it is a different question for private individuals.
We know from Hugh Roberts that the Vladimir tiara was completely rebuilt, perhaps because QEII wanted to continue to use the jewel. It is one which forms part of her public persona as a Queen, and may even be a personal favourite.
In contrast Empress Josephine's bracelets, while delightful, do not form part of public persona of Queen Margrethe. I wonder if Queen Margrethe would have the pearl poire tiara rebuilt if necessary? It definitely does form part of the Queen's public image.
