I mention Wied, as the tiara was last photograpged worn by a Württemberg royal by marriage, Princess Marie prior to her premature death at the age of 24! She was married to the future King William II of Württemberg.
She had one surviving child, Princess Pauline who married the Prince of Wied.
Pauline couldn't succeed and so after William II's death, the head of the Württemberg Family passed to a cousin, who is the ancestor of Duke Carl, the current head of the Württemberg Royal Family.
Its entirely possible that the Pink Topaz parure was inherited by William and Marie's daughter Pauline and sold by one of her Wied descendants or of course it could have been sold by the heirs to Württemberg, although as I have said, both families appear to be very wealthy and appear to have held onto many of their grand jewels.
Interestingly Pauline's great-grandaughter Princess Marie of Wied married Friedrich the heir to the Württemberg Family, although he sadly died last year, leaving their son Wilhelm (b 1994) heir to Duke Carl.
Still its quite nice that Pauline's line is now represented in the Württemberg ruling family again.
