For those who are not familiar with the Private Message system on the board, when a member logs in they will see a "Private Message" notification, if some one has sent them a message. (This is not a "scam" message. It is part of the Boardhost Message Board system.
If members click on that sign, they will be taken to the Private Message. Then they can reply -- if they wish.
Sometimes the message will be from another board member. Members can use the facility to contact each other without knowing an email address.
If Private Messages are ever intrusive, any member can block another from sending such messages -- that is one of the great facilities of these boards.
From time to time -- but rarely -- I might send an email message to a member.
I know that some members will have used a fictitious email address when applying for board membership, but I urge all to check their email used for membership frequently.
