I am very eager to see the "Maltese" aquamarine or sapphire worn once by QEII at Sandringham or a new brooch from her mother such as the diamond circle brooch,the emerald and diamond palm tree brooch, Queen Victoria's small ruby crown brooch or the A sapphire corsage brooch given as a wedding gift by Queen Mary

I thought that, for once, I would break with the board's theme and ask what others would like to see QEII wear for her Christmas Day broadcast.

I know that many are very interested in what HM wears from year to year.

Has anyone ever noticed a pattern to what QEII wears? Is there some link to something which has happened during the year which might influence HM's choice. Or do posters think that HM's choice is random? A matter of her personal whim?
