It must ne a loan from a jeweller ?

As I have never seen this photo before, I thought I would share it.
Princess de Rethy at the Vatican on a private visit in June 1950.
I found it interesting that she was wearing black, not white, and also that she was wearing coloured jewels.
Can anyone identify what jewel is securing her veil?
