Here's another photo apparently from the same session. Getty dates it "circa 1900". The stomacher is not the Kapurthala, but one Beth has written a very interesting post about back in 2016.
If it indeed is Mary it could be the artist’s impression of the choker that now belongs to the Gloucester’s? Although that has at least 11 rows.
That would have been my guess also. I wonder if the photo of which you've posted a link to in your previous message could have been the reference for the watercolour: the tiara, the pearl earrings, the choker plus two additional strings of pearls. With a rather quick sketch like this one, I wouldn't expect too much adherence to detail, like the number of rows in the choker ...
