Irene and her sisters do not seem to have inherited any major jewels from there mother.
I am intrigued by the jewels that Baroness Ravensdale wore to 1937 coronation.
Some like, the Cartier ruby necklace, are easy to identify.
The tiara she chose to wear is less easy to identify, and I would appreciate any information others might have.
To my eye the tiara looks like a nineteenth-century (or perhaps even earlier) item.
Was it a Curzon jewel? Perhaps even worn by her mother? Or did Irene Curzon purchase it herself? It is something which intrigues me.

A slightly closer view of the tiara.
The Baroness seems to have worn the jewel later during festivities following the coronation.
Below is a photo published in June 1937.
A closer view.
As this tiara does not appear to have been auctioned in recent years, we do not have details on its origin and provenance, and so those who specialise in writing about auctioned royal and noble jewels have not featured it in any way what ever. In short, no one has even recognised that it existed!
