Re: Larger images of Imelda Marco's tiara
If it is indeed the Beaumont tiara, the timeframe for a sale or an auction would be rather short, from 1980 (Vanessa Hubbard's wedding) to 1986 (when Marcos was forced into exile). I don't think the case would fit any of the other tiaras once in Marcos' possession, but it seems precisely fitting the tiara in question minus the pearls – which might indicate the pearls were a later addition. I agree with Beth, their fastening looks rather peculiar, and they certainly don't seem to be detachable.
