Tomorrow it will be two years since the board was launched.

I would like to thank all who have made this community such a success! Your efforts are appreciated not only by those who have joined but many others. Sometimes readers (who are not members) send a note, so I am aware that many are interested in what board members share.

One of my concerns is that so few of our members ever post, and so I urge everyone to join in. Most of us started with little more than our enthusiasm.

We started with Dame Nellie Melba whose jewels grabbed my attention at the Cartier Exhibition in Canberra. At times I think that her jewels deserve to be as well known as her name.
