Mrs John Ward was photographed wearing a second tiara at a ball in London in 1958. At the time she was also wearing earrings and a necklace, which I haven't seen in other photographs.

I have no idea what the gemstones surmounting the tiara are. I wondered, in light of the earrings, if they could be turquoises, but they may be pearls. It is the earrings which make me think the gemstones might be turquoises as, if they were pearls, I would have expected to see her more frequently worn pearl drop earrings. But it is all just a guess at present.

One of the unknown things is the gemstone composition of the necklace with the darker stones.
