Christie's has some much clearer images of various jewels as worn by the Countesses.
Below is a very poor quality image I have from a ball for the Vale of the White Horse Hunt in 1928. Compare it to the one used on page 154 by Christie's -- there is no contest about which is the better image,
One of the most interesting new pieces of information supplied by Christie's is that the diamond and pearl tiara/necklace was given to Lilias, Countess of Bathurst by her husband when her first child, Lady Meriel, was born. See page 151 of the catalogue.
