Recently I came across this news item stating that Helen, Duchess of Albany had sold pearls formerly belonging to Queen Victoria to raise money for the Deptford Fund.

Does anyone know which pearls might have been sold?
Below are 2 sets worn by the Duchess. I am sure there will have been other sets.
