Credit goes to Beth and her fabulous ability to unearth information and photographic evidence from newspaper archives. I've known the photo of Grace Curzon wearing the laurel leaf diamond bandeau for quite a while, but it was only after Beth posted the photos of the 2nd Viscount Scarsdale's wives, that it became evident this wasn't a jewel which Grace Duggan had owned already prior to her second marriage to George Curzon. Regarding the sapphire necklace though, after reading Nicola J. Thomas' excellent article, which 992234177 quoted when starting this thread, I'm even more convinced that the information about the necklace having been paste is correct.
