That makes much more sense as I always thought that the Turquoise Tiara was more Edwardian than Victorian in design. It would be wonderful to find a picture of Queen Alexandra wearing it.
This makes me more curious about the the jewels of Queen Sophia, especially her turquoise and ruby parures, and what became of them?
