I thank you so much for your very kind photo ! it is by far my favourite photo of Princess Margaret wearing the tiara !
Without any doubt, this tiara is currently in the vault ! What a pity that this tiara is not currently worn ! This tiara is far more beautiful than the Cartier halo tiara.
Princess Margaret has worn this tiara on least 2 more times (If I am correct). The photos (If I am also correct) were found by Beth :
in 1951 :
Maybe in 1952 :
Last but not least, when I see this tiara (or the sapphire bandeau tiara) I can"t stop thinking of the two sapphire tiaras described by Field. I wish that one day we will find information about the two sapphire tiaras.....
Thank you again for sharing this beautiful photo !

Since the Lozenge tiara / bandeau was not worn that often (at least few photos exists of it being worn) I was rather excited to spot the photo below. According to the caption it was taken of the Princess on her way to attend a dinner hosted for the Commonwealth Heads of Government in London in 1964.
The excellent blog "The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor" mentions that only three outings were known to the author at the time the entry was written: Queen Juliana's inauguration (1948), the Dutch State Visit to the UK (1950) and a dinner at the Anglo-Dutch Society (1965) - a lot of Dutch connections strangely enough. I would also quickly throw in here the Return Banquet at the Danish Embassy during King Frederik's State Visit to the UK in 1951.
Link to the blog's entry on the tiara:

So, since it is a rarely seen piece, I thought it might interest the posters here to know that it was worn at least once more (in 1964) if we are to believe the caption at Topfoto.
