Don’t know its provenance, but the centre stone (pearl?) in Princess Victoria’s floral tiara looks larger.
I recently published an article on Princess Victoria’s Cartier Diamond Tiara, HERE , to mark the 85th Anniversary of her Death, and while I didn't find out any information that wasn't previously known , I was quite curious about the Tiaras Princess Victoria wore at the Coronation of her brother-in-law King Haakon VII of Norway, in 1906 and at a Gala Performance during the British State Visit to Norway in 1908, which appears different in shape to the floral spray she wore in 1902 and 1905.
I haven't seen any pictures of her at the 1911 Coronation or any other Gala event after the 1900s, and
Given that we know nothing about the fate of Princess Victoria's jewels, only that her estate was divided between her nephew, King Olav V of Norway, and niece, Princess Maud, Countess of Southesk , while her country house went to the Duke of Kent, I wonder if these diamond floral hair clips and brooches worn by Queen Sonja of Norway could be elements from Princess Victoria's Tiara(s)? Or was the Tiara among the jewels inherited by Princess Maud which were sold at Auction after her death?
