It is reported that QM left all of her jewels to her granddaughter the present QE2. But I am sure I read somewhere, that some of the minor pieces were left to the late PMPR, and her own daughter the the Countess of Harewood.

Recently I did a post on the bracelet worn by Queen Mary on her wedding day which had a cabochon gemstone surrounded by a diamond border as a centre piece.

Since writing that post I have found the photo below of Queen Mary wearing the bracelet which was the subject of the earlier post. I think that this is possibly one of the best views of this bracelet.

I wish we had some more information about this bracelet, as it obviously had some importance to Queen Mary. Perhaps it was an engagement present from George V, as I noted earlier. I wonder what has happened to this bracelet?
