Well spotted Knightship!! I think you might be correct. To have a pair of bracelets with seven strands would, I suspect, be unusual. Then, for each bracelet to have some strands slightly longer matches what can be seen in the sketch. What a shame that Olrik didn't give at least a hint of the clasps!
