I forgot to post about this video which shows QEII at the launch of the Empress of Britain in 1958.
Initially, it is impossible to make out the brooch, which highlights all the problems associated with identifying this brooch in photos from the era.
At 1.25 minutes there are a couple of clear views of the brooch.
