Re: Queen Elizabeth's unknown brooch
Wonderful, thanks Frank. I wonder how much diamonds are really in HM's collection, if one were to add all of them up from the brooches to the necklaces, one would end up with a staggering number of diamonds.
No wonder it is said she has the largest and finest jewel collection of them all, and maybe the most expensive one as well.
If this is a new brooch, I think by my count, I may have seen maybe 30 or so different brooches the Queen has débuted.
We should try doing a brooch count as I may have overestimated what I may have seen bearing in mind that they at times look different in different settings and believing that I had seen a new one when it may have been one I seen already.
I have just found this photo of QEII wearing a unknown brooch (to me).
