Very beautiful and simple nuptials I'd say. The fact that such a wealthy family is going shy on jewels means they may have more belief in the other assets and puts more emphasis on these other assets such as their massive landed estates of which I have read are many. Retaining just a few pieces of jewels seem to be con in these days, but Retaining the estate seem to be coup.

Carlos Fitz-James Stuart y Solís, the 22nd Count of Osorno and the younger son of the Duke of Alba, got married to Belén Corsini in the Gardens of the Palacio de Liria in Madrid yesterday, HERE!

The bride wore a jewel made from a pair of earrings that belonged to her maternal grandmother ( as shared by Tiara Mania ), and not one of the Tiaras of the House of Alba .

More interestingly, Eugenia Martínez de Irujo, the 12th Duchess of Montoro, the aunt of the groom, wore the late Duchess of Alba's Emerald Earrings ! I wonder if they, like the Pearl Tiara that supposedly originates from Empress Eugénie , belong to the Duchess of Montoro now?
