Regards,
Dave.
To mark the 80th Birthday of Archduchess Valerie, Margravine of Baden today, I've finally published my research on the Baden Royal Tiaras, HERE, with lots of mysterious pieces of which not much is known. It is amazing how many jewels they still have, and very little is from the Baden side, but instead the collection mainly consists of jewels from the Hanoverian Royal Family.
Ursula has some lists on the Baden jewels, and from them I've identified the Turquoise Tiara worn by Princess Margarita of Baden and Yugoslavia as being the wedding gift to Princess Marie Louise of Hanover, Margravine of Baden from her aunt, Princess Marie of Hanover. I've also included pictures of two mystery tiaras worn by Princess Theodora of Greece, Margravine of Baden in the 1950s and 1960s, which are very intriguing.
Read the article HERE , and if you'd like to use the information, please be sure to credit and link my work!
