Regards,
Dave.
Recently, a board reader, Rico, gave us information about some of Princess Margaret's jewels being sold by Trafalgar Jewellers. See https://mb.boardhost.com/historyroyaljewels/msg/1621128983.html
For the watch in question see Christie's https://www.christies.com/lot/lot-a-ladys-art-deco-diamond-wristwatch-by-4718005/?from=salesummary&intObjectID=4718005&lid=1&ldp_breadcrumb=back and Trafalgar Jewellers https://www.trafalgarjewellers.co.uk/product/watches/h-m-the-queens-sister-princess-margarets-cartier-art-deco-platinum-wristwatchm1922
At the time I thought I had a photo of Princess Margaret wearing the watch, but I could not find it.
Today, when I was looking for a photo of Princess Margaret's pink stone brooch, I realised where I had seen the watch.
I have had another look, but have not found any other images. It is possible that this watch was worn more frequently but bouquets, gloves, furs etc often obscure what watch or bracelet the Princess wore.
