Re: Not South Corea
And I would not be surprised if we also see it on Prince Daniel and Princess Sofia tonight.
Actually the sash includes the three colors of our flag. There is small line of black framed with gold on the sides. We will see at last 2 more as both the Queen and Crown Princess have it.
Oh dear... sorry for getting it so wrong I will edit the heading (if I am able to). I was looking at the last State Visit to Sweden before the Covid hit the world, so I got the two mixed up.
I agree that it is nice to see such ceremonial and elegant attire again and the red Sash goes very well with the uniforms of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Prince Carl Philip.
Hopefully more red Sashes tonight at the State Banquet! Thank you for correcting me on the very incorrect heading Stefan. I appreciate it very much.
Not from South Korea but from Germany. Nice to see the sah of our german order of merit beeing worn, which unfortunately isn't the case anymore at State Banquets here anymore.
The German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender landed at Arlanda Airport this morning just outside Stockholm. They were received by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. The Crown Princess wore lovely Pearl earrings combined with a Pearl brooch:
At the Royal Mews in the centre of Stockholm the Presidential Couple were received by Their Majesties. Queen Silvia also wore lovely Pearls around her neck and some modern earrings with Diamonds and a red gem:
I do hope that we will see a lot more glitter this evening at the State Banquet. It looks like the Royal Family will be very well represented.
