Such an interesting thread! Thanks to all for the great insights.
Congratulations Kongetro and Benny for spotting two significant items!
Has Crown Princess Victoria worn the bracelet previously?
Apologies The Royal Watcher but I cannot make the link you gave work.
I am going to play Devil's Advocate here and ask a few questions.
Has anyone ever seen a photo showing the rear of the jewel worn as a necklace?
I ask this because I recollected what Mauriz said in the discussion in February this year.
For that discussion see https://mb.boardhost.com/historyroyaljewels/thread/1613384755.html
Then, as I looked at the sketch showing the bracelet or extender to the necklace, I realised that the ruby centre piece in the sketch had 9 diamonds in the diamond surround of the ruby.
The bracelet worn by Crown Princess Victoria has more diamonds.
Secondly, the bracelet worn by Crown Princess Victoria appears to have a cabochon ruby centre; yet, the tiara appears to have cut rubies.
Wedding gift to Margaret of Connaught from Edward and Alexandra.
