Re: Plymouth emeralds
Thank you, Beth, particularly for the pictures of Irene, Countess of Plymouth wearing her emerald tiara. The Getty photo of her son and daughter-in-law at the coronation in 1953, so blurry in the area of the tiara, has always left me a little doubtful as to whether Caroline, Countess of Plymouth might not, after all, have been wearing a tiara belonging to her grandmother Lady Curzon. That has now been clarified.
