Perfect for the Duchess of Brabant!
On 10 November 2021 Sotheby's offers in its Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels: Part I auction a beautiful palmette tiara whose provenance is given as "European Princely Family". The removable palmettes each have a sapphire in the centre. All palmettes are removable. The back reveals a small masterpiece of craftsmanship. It seems to me that the base is also prepared for other attachable elements, so that the base can be varied in many ways.
The casket is marked Koch. Another tiara by this outstanding jeweller.

Is the tiara known to someone and can it be attributed to a family? The price suggests a well-known provenance.
