Today we have another great opportunity to see diamonds sparkle as they were intended to. I am sure that the State Banquet will provide us with some wonderful images.

But even at the welcoming ceremony Queen Silvia especially wore a selected pieces of important jewellery. She in fact treated us to two brooches; the moth brooch with an emerald and ruby body pinned on her coat for the State Procession and then the Queen Josephine Pearl and Ruby brooch for the official photograph inside the Royal Palace:
