There was a note ‘once property of HM Queen Elisabeth of Belgium’.
Grrrrr…. Stupid me!

Ohh so sad you can’t remember! Could be, although there are similar ones in other collections, some bigger…some smaller…
Thank you! Previous Message
Wonderfull!
Could it be possible that this brooch was in the posession of a Paris jeweller? I have seen somewhere on Instagram a post of this brooch once belonging to HM Queen Elisabeth. I forgot the name of the jeweller…. Previous Message
RDavid has written an article on The Royal Watcher about Queen Elisabeth’s Pearl and Diamond Leaf Brooch , HERE , to mark the 70th Birthday of Princess Léa of Belgium today! We came upon the jewel only a few days ago while discussing ideas for Princess Léa’s birthday and were surprised to discover how often Queen Elisabeth had worn this brooch, which was a wedding gift from her sister and brother-in-law, Duchess Marie Gabrielle in Bavaria and Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria, making this one the oldest surviving heirloom jewels in the Belgian Royal Family.
