Is the tiara still a family legacy?

I am reading Lady Lucan’s book ‘A Moment in Time’ and in it she states that the tiara she wore at her wedding was designed by her grandmother in law Violet Spender-Clay, Countess of Lucan. She then says that it was lent to her by her husbands aunt Margaret Bingham, Countess Alexander of Tunis who was given it by her mother.
