Hi Sam, thanks for your report, I believe I have heard of this Emmaunuelle. But I think it has something to do with costume jewelry though. I would not think they could have keep of such a rear relic of the past with such historic and precious jewels with out tones of security lagging about. So the piece must be a replica of sorts.
So the other night I went to see the famous Burlesque star Dita Von Teese at the London Palladium.
In her opening number she comes out of a cake and as she undresses she is draped in a replica of the famous Boehmer et Bassange necklace that helped cause the downfall of Marie Antoinette
I tweeted about this and whoever runs Dita Von Teese's twitter responded with this: (I'd like to think Dita personally responded to me, but that's my fantasy) https://twitter.com/DitaVonTeese/status/1502232479473807360
