I was going through some photographs from the Thanksgiving Service for the life of the Duke of Edinburgh and although I concentrated on portrait-type close-ups to see the jewels (as most jewels are worn above the waist) I stopped at the photo below of Lady Sarah Chatto. What caught my eye were the two bracelets worn by her. Is anything known about any of them? The one worn on her left wrist contains a beautiful blue stone, most likely a Sapphire I would imagine, and diamonds. Could it be an heirloom from her mother the late Princess Margaret? And the one on her right wrist; are the stones diamonds or perhaps some other type of gems?
