What a mystery you have in hands! Hope someone can help you with additional information or some more photos from this occasion.
At first glimpse, I thought It was Mrs. Greville tiara and necklace. After checking some dates, it doesn’t make much sense. I doubt the Queen would ask Mrs Greville to borrow her some jewels.
Also, is there evidence of HM borrowing pieces from jewellers? I am not aware of that.
I am still trying to understand what I see on those pictures… spikes/fringes? Horizontal motifs?
