Historic Royal Palaces has posted a picture on Facebook/Instagram of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh visiting Hillsborough Castle in Belfast for a banquet after the Coronation in 1953.
In the picture are Viscount Brookeborough (Prime Minister of Northern Ireland) and his wife née Cynthia Mary Sergison, and Lord Wakehurst (Governor of Northern Ireland) and his wife n´´Margaret Tennant. Both ladies are wearing interesting tiaras - Lady Brookeborough with coloured stones (emeralds?) and Lady Wakehurst wearing a rather large diamond tiara I have not seen previously.
