It was great to see so many tiaras on display again at a banquet at the Royal Palace in Oslo. It made my heart jump to see the Duchess of Brabant wearing her own tiara and hopefully we will see her in it for many years to come!

The Princess of Orange also looked fantastic in her first official tiara event and I am sure that we will also see her wearing more tiaras from the large collection of the Dutch Royal Family.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra looked absolutely magnificent in the Pearl Circle tiara of her great great grandmother Princess Ingeborg of Sweden. It is wonderful to know that this piece, being a historic jewel owned by the late Princess Ragnhild, actually now is again back with the main line thanks to the generosity of her cousins.

Now, although the tiaras were the main focus I could not help spotting a jewel I cannot remember at the top of my head having seen before. It was worn by Princess Astrid Mrs Ferner. She of course wore the well-known turquoise circlet and necklace. But on her right wrist she also wore a bracelet with what looks like a rather large stone (diamond?). Does anybody recognise this?
