Oh there are still lots of german noble Jewels who are auctioned. last year the Princely Family of Hohenzollern sold a lot of their sapphire Jewels including a tiara that once belonged to Queen maria II. of Portugal and recently a big diamond and pearl tiara from the Princes of Fürstenberg was auctioned.
Thanks for the pictures and the information and background are really good. The German nobility are very interesting. They dont seem to auction their jewels and heirlooms like their British counterparts. Do they have benefits from a better tax system as it relates to entailed family assets?
