Re: Countess of Wessex Royal Variety Performance
I've seen a picture with the Belgian sapphire suite in a pink box or so, and in that box was I think at least 3 sapphire rings all belonging to the late Queen, so maybe the ring may have actually come from the keep of the late Queen's private collection. If I find the picture I will post it here.
Beautiful jewels, maybe a legacy of the late Queen or an anniversary gift from her husband. But sapphires seem to be the in thing now with the British Royal women as the Queen consort has been wearing them recently since the Queen died, maybe it's a signal of a Royal Court still in mourning.
