I found this very interesting video on Youtube regarding a jewel worn by Queen Elizabeth I in one of her most famous portraits. I had actually not spotted this one before, but it must have been quite an item and rather well-known back in the days. It was interesting to learn how this specific item could be traced back to the goldsmith creating it and even the price paid for it when it was acquired the first time.
