I was watching a documentary on YouTube about the economic rise of the Arabian gulf states and there is a section about the pearl diving heritage and how that became a global industry.

There is a clip of a Sheikh visiting a pearl and jewellery showroom in London, looks to me to be at the bottom of Regents Street near to where it becomes Piccadilly Circus. The Sheikh is then shown picking up a necklace and then a pearl and diamond tiara, which to me is identical to the Buccleuch pearl tiara.

Its at 14.10 minutes into the video.

Its difficult to age when the video was shot - could be in the 1930s through into the early 1950s based on the fashion of the British people shown in the video - basically the local Londoners watching the Sheikh going into the showroom.
