A brooch belonging to Maria Alexandrovna, Grand Duchess of Russia and Duchess of Coburg and Edinburgh comes to auction soon in Italy.

Maria is one of my all time favourite royals and her sapphire parure is probably my favourite piece of jewellery ever so I shall watch this sale with interest.
