I am delighted to reveal that a tiny antique Ruby and Diamond Brooch which previously belonged to Princess Alexandra of Kent and is currently on display in the Victoria & Albert Museum is an element of the Greek Royal Family's magnificent Ruby Parure. King George I of Greece reportedly bought a ruby for Queen Olga on their anniversary every year, one of which once belonged to their great-granddaughter, Princess Alexandra, and is now owned by the Albion Art Institute, who have loaned it to the V&A in London until April 2026. I believe that the Brooch is one of four mystery Brooches worn by Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent at Wimbledon just a few short weeks before her sudden death in 1968.
