    I have never looked closely at the jewels worn by the various First Ladies of the United States previously, so my knowledge is woeful. But thank you for introducing the topic Dave. It will expand my knowledge.

    From the little I have seen about Melania Trump's jewels, I find it very difficult to determine what may have been lent to her, what she actually owns or what has been Photoshopped.

    From the little I can see she often chooses not to wear conspicuous jewels, and allows the focus of attention to be on her dress.

    As the Trump visit to the UK is not classified as a full scale State Visit, I wonder if there will even be a banquet? Even if QEII hosts a dinner/banquet, I suspect that Mrs Trump will keep her jewels understated -- but that is just a guess.
