Thanks Beth for this intriguing story on the Dutch Royals, seems their British cousins have good company when it comes to scandals and finances if one recalls the Prince Charles dilemma with the purported sales of royal gifts. I am however hard-pressed to really contemplate how such historically wealthy families seem to get into such dramas.. I mean if you look at it QJ descendants don't seem to have any financial problems. I believe the present Queen has been wearing plenty expensive additions of jewellery, but then again not knowing what is really in the vaults one never can really say new to the eye pieces are indefinitely new, they may be pieces given or acquired over time never seen before. But thanks aging for this enduring historical take.

    Regards,

    Dave.
