The Queen’s Sheikh Rashid of Dubai Sapphire Demi-ParureArchived Message

Dear all,
As we know Sheikh Rashid of Dubai gave QEII a diamond and sapphire demi-parure when she visited during a Middle East tour in 1979.
This sapphire and diamond demi-parure was made by Asprey, and originally consisted of a necklace, earrings and a ring.
This demi-parure is said to have been altered by The Queen, who shortened the necklace by two sapphires, converting these into earrings and the original earrings and the ring were mounted into a three-stone bracelet to be worn en suite with the necklace.
However, QEII wore the necklace before in alteration in 1983 (Canada - Vancouver).
She was also wearing a bracelet. I do think that she is also wearing the bracelet from the demi-parure (same shape) - Please find below a photo (Others photos can be found on the net) :

Therefore, to me the bracelet was not made from the earrings and the ring.
