    The tiara which can be partially seen is the turquoise tiara which King George V gave to QEQM as a wedding present. It originally had a band of diamonds across the top which QEQM removed at some time. I have never seen an image of her wearing it in its original format.

    Sorry but this is totally off the topic of this thread, is you want to start another please do so. In the photograph Beth posted of the jewels given to the then Duchess of York on her wedding there is part of a tiara on the left hand side. I don't recognise it, can anyone enlighten me?
