Beth, could you say if the pearls and stars in the veil of QV is a corsage, part of necklace or stomacher? I find it very imposing in a good way but has never noticed it on any of the present royal women, unless it is the diamond and pearl necklace from QEQM's time that I think may have come to her via QA. Could someone identify?

    Regards,

    Dave.

It has been said that the pear shaped drop pearl earrings worn by QEII were given to Queen Victoria by Prince Albert.

But I wonder if the earrings worn by QEII are Queen Victoria's?

Even when I consider that the top stud section has been changed, I still wonder if the pearl drops are the same shape as seen on Queen Victoria. What do others think?
