Georgina Leonora Mosselmans was actually married to the fourth son of John Sholto Douglas, 9th Marquess of Queensberry, Lord Sholto George Douglas. Perhaps their shared unusual first name is the reason why the National Portrait Gallery got her husband and title wrong.
Searching for Lady Douglas made it easier to find another picture, and it's indeed one with another centre piece - and a very impressive one! - which makes the design more appealing:
Lord Douglas was Georgina Mosselmans' second husband. They were divorced in 1925. She married Prince Mehmed Burhameddin of Turkey as her third and Count Fernand de Saurigny as her fourth husband, before the Hon. William Arthur de la Poer Horsley-Beresford became her fifth husband in 1933.
So much for the shy and gentle woman, who just once wanted to feel a bit frivolous and coquettish...
