See my RJWMB post 5th February 2018:

The Scottish press also mentioned "articles of jewellery, as keepsakes, to her sister, Queen Maud of Norway", but I have no examples of such news reports.

BTW: Joye on RJWMB mentioned that Victoria's Cartier tiara was a fringe tiara. If so, not unlikely also wearable as a necklace.

Princess Victoria's will is sealed so it is unlikely we will ever discover much.

I am sceptical of the claim that she left QEQM a diamond fringe necklace. First we don't have any evidence that Princess Victoria ever owned such a jewel, but then we know very little about her jewels.

According to the media King George V got the contents of her house, the Duke of Kent got the house and most of the rest of her possessions/fortune was left to Maud Carnegie and King Olaf.

    She left a considerable estate.

    Some of the press reports

I have seen auction notices in the papers about various items of furniture belonging to Princess Victoria being sold, but I never took any cuttings of those. I never saw any mention of jewels.
