What a keen eye you have! I agree, I too think this looks like the County of Lincoln brooch, even though we cannot see it all. I have looked at this photo many times and never noticed that brooch. Your eagle eye highlights that the formal studio style photos of Queen Mary for the 1937 coronation were taken much later as, in those photos, HM is not wearing anything at the edge of the gown's neckline.

I MEAN TO SAY!!! Didn’t they realise that we would be pouring over these different artifacts a century later? Tongue in cheek of course.... Jason Previous Message .....
