I assume these were loaned for the evening, and are not family heirlooms! Re: Countess Anna Theresa in Empress Elisabeth's Diamond Stars Posted by mauriz on October 1, 2018, 3:49 pm, in reply to "Re: Countess Anna Theresa in Empress Elisabeth's Diamond Stars" In an interview for Austrian magazine "Profil" on the occasion of the company's 200th anniversary in 2014 Christoph Köchert stated that of those 27 stars of different size belonging to Empress Elisabeth "some" had a centre Mabé-pearl. 8 of the original stars have survived, 1 in the possession of the family, 7 with the descendants of one of Elisabeth's ladies-in-waiting. Interview Köchert Köchert has reissued the diamond stars after the original sketches in various sizes and executions a couple of years ago, so the stars worn by Countess Anna Theresa might even be new ones.
